“A Clean Vessel Fitted for the Master’s Use”

2 Corinthians 4:7 – But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the Excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.
This verse is an encouragement to the Christian to live daily under the influence of the Holy Spirit. These earthen vessels or our bodies have fleshly desires that conflict with us being clean vessels fitted for the Master’s use. Whatever our vices are that may keep us at times from being the position to witness to others, we what they are. To name a few: not having a consistent prayers life, not studying the word. These are just (2) things that can keep us tapped into the power of God, which gives us sensitivity to the Holy Spirit to the point that He leads us to say NO. We need to know that we have the strength to say NO. Resisting the urge to sin, keeps us clean and in a position to live a life of witness of Christ to draw others to HIM!
